In4 6-rib crank overlay m62 setup! Spoke to you on instagram about this a wee while back, good to see some of your bracketry designs. Looking forward to more of this!

Yes! We had a great convo about it.
At the moment I'm waiting for the engineering company to come back to me on the metal folding. I have supplied the flat drawings, then they'll work out how far they need to move the bolt holes, as the material stretches as it's folded.
We moved the supercharger forward, so by default the brackets will work with both a 4 and a 6 rib setup. We'll just need to supply two different pulleys. Once we've got the 4 rib running, we'll then look at producing a 6 rib pulley that can be pressed onto the PAS pump.

Not to be awkward, but I'm really interested in this thread as I'm thinking about building something similar as funds allow, but I cant see page 1 as my works swear filter is blocking it... Can anyone work out why and edit it for me please?

We've had some progress with the superchargers. The M45 is now mounted up on our prototype brackets. The pulley is the only constant in the setup, so I need to have some made to finalise the supercharger location before having the rest of the brackets produced. The charger will be positioned so that either a 4 rib or a 6 rib can be used with the same brackets. There will be plenty of room for inlet and outlet, just need to get my hands on a MK2 brace so we can ensure it works with the factory braces supplied on other cars.

What I can see of the bracket looks nice. Any progress with the 62?
Lose that airbox support bracket for weightsaving gains!
Are you going to have provision for those of us without A/C or PS? I currently have only PS but that might be going at some point. I assume some sort of dummy pulley can be fitted instead?

I currently have only PS but that might be going at some point. I assume some sort of dummy pulley can be fitted instead? Thanks, it should work well once we've finalised it all. No progress with the 62 yet, I made a mistake and had a 1.8 bracket made with 1.6 holes, which put us back quite a bit as I had to start a 1.6 bracket from scratch. I didn't realise just how different the blocks are in size. Just had an ME221 turn up, so will be losing all the MAF and bracket for good soon We haven't yet worked out for those who remove the PAS, but there will be simple solutions to assist with it. It'll all come in time. Unfortunately not having access to our own CNC machines means that things are a little slower to progress than we would like.

The overlays for the crank are a PITA due to the different crank pulleys. If you use a cast one, they're not normally flat due to the rust and if they're not flat they wobble or snap bolts. Just whack a billet crank pulley on and be done with it Shout if you want us to look at pulleys. We can make these up. I've actually got in stock some nice water pump pulleys
