I'll start off. I was lucky with my up bringing and could ride a motorbike before a bicycle, nothing like a dad getting his son to follow in his shoes. So safe to say over the years I've had a fair few bikes. This is what I currently role around on. Unfortunately given the state of the roads currently it's getting retired to the garage for the winter next week.

I was hoping you'd get involved with this thread, looking forward too seeing what you've got at the work shop. Had to go sensible for a bit, had a few s1000rr's before this and just couldnt be sensible so knocked riding on the head for a couple of years and then got the r9t. Still very tempted to get another rr in the summer though

Well, if I have to....
This is the current bike, the day I dropped it off at Big CC for its rolling road remap
Its a 2006 Triumph Daytona 675, Ex race bike put back on the road using carbon nose and tail, and upgraded lights with integral indicators. K-tech fork internals, rebuilt shock, HEL hoses all round, SATO racing touches and ProBolt gold on every visible and invisible bolt, Yellow samcos....
Oh, and a turbo! Home made conversion, turbo is off a 2001 Vectra diesel, the manifold and exhaust I welded myself as well as the airbox, Powercommander 3 management with multifunction hub to run the boost pressure.
Big CC need to uprate the fuel pressure regulator and then rolling road it all, and then the yellow fairings can go back on to hide all my handiwork.
Owning a tuning company (hence the username) kinda dictates that I have something a bit different, my last bike was an R1 that I painted pink and put an Isle of Man race engine in it and got a Fast Bikes Obsession feature, and they already know I'm building this with a planned photoshoot for around march/april next year. I'll fish out some R1 pics if anyones interested.
This is why I haven't really modded the car yet.

I would be very interested! I used to ride bikes and then some numpty took me off and ruined my back and legs so I have a hard time being comfortable for more than 10 minutes on a bike now, and its not for a lack of trying believe me! haha
I am hoping to go to the TT this year but depends on moto GP dates as Im driving to Barcelona for catalunya GP

Love the work that's gone into it and looking forward to seeing it done, be cool if you could update us on it (If and when you get a spare 5 mins, lol) and pics of the R1 would be great. I'm yet to ride a turbo, is on the to do list and I really want to be part of the 200mph club, just finding the funds to put into it.

Thanks! It's probably going to put out less power than an s1000rr once its done, it's only a 675cc. I'd imagine that it'll be on par with the R1, but a very different ride. I've not ridden a turbo before either, and I'm hoping there is no lag otherwise it'll be a proper handful out the apexes, though looking into nos based anti-lag systems I think theres a way around it if it does.
I don't have any pics uploaded anywhere for the r1, they are on my home pc so I'll get them up somewhere later.
I'd like to ride an s1000rr, a lot of people go from the 675 to them, but I'm still yet to own a ducati so an 848 is next on my list. I think I want some more time with this though, despite the power lack (before turbo) the 675 outhandles anything ive ever ridden before and as 5 owners we all know that's hard to resist!

ITs a solid engine though and if it does put out less than the 1000rr you still have the turbo to deal with which will be far more fun. Hopefully there won't be much lag as you're right, will definitely be a handful but it won't take long to pick up on riding it smoothly. No worries, will just be cool to see. I loved the s1000rr (Had 4 of them, lol) and hands down it's the best superbike I've ever ridden saying that I still want a ducati, stunning bikes and have always been the "poster bike" for me. Saw the new 1299 Superleggera at the NEC on Monday, awesome bit of kit, 72k though...

I had the opportunity to ride a Panigale 1299 on a top speed run at Bruntingthorpe not so long ago, I was there with the Daytona, bouncing it off the limiter while all the bigger bikes were whistling by... but the Pani was an absolute animal, takes off like pulling barbed wire out of a cats bumhole!
It'll be a while until I get to a s1000rr, they are still too much money for me, but if the dicati gest done and I'm still young enough to not buy a Softail Slim then it's definitely on the list.

You can't just leave that there and not tell us about them....
The pic isn't even HQ enough to work anything out! I'll take a punt at the trike being a reliant with a Kawasaki front end, the black one being a Harley sportster, and then one on the end I have no idea, some small capacity crosser, like a Yamaha DT?

Sorry about pic. Having probs uploading so adding as an attachment (click on it). Yep the trike has a Reliant engine etc. Kawaski front and I built it a few years ago. The Black bike is a Yam XVS650 and the trail bike is a Suzuki TS125.

One out of 3 isn't bad, surprised at that as it's not my usual sector... Trike is nice though, I've never ridden one but I imagine that they understeer, and that you have to action the handlebars more than a bike or a quad to get them to turn?
Guessed on a harley for the air filter but could have been anything from that pic!
I take it you're a regular bulldog bash goer then?
