Nope, might be done on Monday but I am thinking as the front end is off I should do the thermostat and perhaps hit up Skuzzle for an intake, not that I am convinced it will provide a benefit other than noise.

The Skuzzle intake does work. I was at his once when he did a back to back test. I'll be getting one tomorrow when I'm down there.

Just going off the fuelling difference pre and post cam, Nick struggled to get more power despite having a lot more air to the engine due to cams so backed off the fuel, makes me wonder what an intake will actually do if adding more fuel with all the extra air to current setup had no benefit?
I'm all up for a bit of noise though, car is sounding more racy with everything I do which ups the enjoyment level
Whilst the cold hard numbers from performance tests bring you back down to earth, the sensations from how it drives is mega (don't like to use that word but couldn't think of a better term )
It'd be interesting to hear your thoughts on the intake.
Ouch that was unlucky! Was going well too. I was just getting started, spent the sessions focusing on particular sections, getting good exits etc, would of switched to combining the lot in the afternoon for a proper hot one, so a shame, still I learned a lot about the car, it was very stable under braking and not as understeery as it could feel on the road, nice balance to it, the RX8 Yellow ARBs aren't a dramatic change from stock, though I'd barely scratched the surface before my day was over. The benefit I could feel from the AD08s was the ability to do more than 2x the laps in one stint, the Continentals would have melted.

Yes very annoying that I left the tree up, I never have one normally but the car had a mould infestation over winter and I killed it all with vinegar, so put that in to stop me thinking of chips Of course now it smells like ice cream

There's plenty of guys that are handy at Combe on the mx5 forums, I'd need boost to keep up with some, if I stick a Mazda badge on my Abarth will anyone notice
