Cool Cool little car.....pretty disappointed it hasn't got a massive Mighty5's sticker plastered on it though, chop chop!!!! It has the large ones on each door! I am thinking of re-shelling it into a white car and going for a full Mighty5s livery. Would look smart all stickered up in the club colours!

big changes for 2017.
I want to change class in sprinting to one with closer competition. Currently (due to the 1.6x cc multiplier for FI) I am in the over 2000cc class. This is normally a small class of 4 or 5 cars with me being the smallest actual capacity. My two main opponents in local stuff have a 400bhp S14 and a 570bhp Supercharged mustang. If there's any kind of long corner or straight I get destroyed.
The plan is to go back to NA. Going 1.8 and ITBs means I end up in the 1400cc to 2000cc class which is generally bigger (circa 10 cars) and I'l be up against stuff like Clio 182s, Civic and Integra TYpeRs, etc etc. Should be much more fun and even across all different course layout.
I'm expecting delivery of a 1.8 VVT lump in the next week or so. Then I'll whip the head off for some light rework and add some re-profiled cams with more lift and longer duration. Once re-assembled I'll add some Jenvey ITBs, inlet manifold, 4-2-1 Exhaust Manifold and an ME221 ECU. All that matched to the current 6speed box and 3.6:1 ration LSD should make for a brisk car. Probably in the region on 170bhp. It won't be as fast as with the charger but I'm hoping for better driving dynamics from going back to NA.
Long term plan is a fully worked top and bottom end with some even hotter cams for 200bhp+ and a 9K+ rev limit.

I have a 1.8vvt engine and an Ashcroft ATB torsen... you have a supercharger without a car to go into.... can we get a deal together?

South West Sprint structure I compete in would suit you, it's 1800 upto 2600cc which is murder for an MX5 but not an FI'd one, I have been up against 330bhp 1.6 mk1 mx5 and get murdered in my 2.0NA, class structure is a pain in the rear canoe for me because 1.8 turbos fit. Of course if I go FI I'd be outclassed in the next group up......Arrrrgh, that said I have never been a million miles away despite 1A rubber and NA, so who knows, not sure I can afford to find out.

It would help if there was a universal class structure across all the clubs. I understand why they do t though, allow them to cater for the spread of cars in any one club.
