Just the one for me, and I hope it's the only one I own (albeit for a very very long time). I'm surprised that so far, more people are on their second/ third/ fourth one, although the pool is still small. It does show there is a bit of a bug with these cars!

Oh yeh you can't just have one of these, even if you sell your first, it's never too long before you want another.

First NA still here too. Mine was resurrected having had little chance of ever passing an MOT again let alone ever becoming a classic. It is still beaten as hell and all sorts of colours but having lived with the little bastard for probably 5 years now I can't think that I would ever sell the thing. I do keep looking at relatively shiny ones going for absolute peanuts lately though as someone noticed a slight bubbling on the sills. Veeeeery tempting indeed. I would love to get another one and eventually convert it electric.

Have just brought my third. A 1989 Eunos, from Ebay unseen. Only photos and description to go by. Not turned a wheel for 18months so could be interesting !
This will be my first road going MX5 though as the other two have been race cars. A Mk1 and currently a Mk3.
Really looking forward to getting my teeth into this little project and then of course driving it..... to a track ;o)

Glad to see someone else considering EV conversion,i really thought i was on my own there for a while Mine is my first,it is very battered, bruised and abused by it`s previous owners, but it is still here and tucked away in the dry SORN`d. I just managed to get it through it`s MOT year before last, could only afford to get about 1500 miles on it in juice, but had some real pleasure and special moments for all the work, money and pain it has caused. I have been looking at 1:1 EV conversions for a while, still don`t know anywhere near enough about electricity to be happy/safe but am kind of determined to convert it somehow, when funds permit. It would be great if you or anyone else has info and/or thoughts on converting thier 5`s to EV they would be prepared to share? cheers.

A single mk1. It's the only version I ever wanted. It's going nowhere! I just want to keep it mint and improve it as time goes by
