Spacers I've got some 17mm in stock. Otherwise get some proper wheels on there!

They don't fit under the standard Mk2 wheels either

The wheels are et25. I don't want to get yuuuuge spacers (17mm? just no!) and I'm looking at the 5mm H&R Spacers which come with extended studs.
Are the studs needed for such a small spacing ?

5mm will be fine. Like Russell says you're good upto 6mm on standard studs/centrebore.

Get some TD Pro Race 1.2s in ET25. They fit perfectly and are a wheel Team Dynamics developed specifically for the spec miata guys in the states. They are therefore a pukka MX5 race wheel.

I used the same method, same wheel. Fit very easily over the front and rear calipers (my rear ones have more clearance issues that the front).

Will see how the spacers go. I could also switch to 6uls. This weekend will be unf.
