God know's what this'll do to the swear filter.....
To update the guy who bought the 5 has been well through it and discovered it's pretty solid and in good condition, least it'll be on the road again soon even if I'm not the custodian.Shame though ideally I would have kept it as a forever car but you can't always get what you want.
Finally got a replacement for the 5 in mid January, its a Tailgate McNoIndicate 130i, pre facelift so has the hydraulic steering (like the 5), N52 3.0 NA straight 6 with 265bhp. Most importantly 5 doors and Isofix in the back - so family friendly for the new co-pilot. Factory Xenon's, heated seats, sparkling graphite paint, needs cruise control. Just working my way through servicing as the plan is to service it myself entirely.

So far so good, I have needed to buy torx bits and allen key sockets, also Tailgate McNoIndicate parts are more expensive than 5 parts but the knowledge from the 5 has stood me in good stead so far - certainly a good car to cut your teeth on initially.
Can confirm the indicators do work.....
