What is that roof??
I know a man that wants to know lol
Tell 'The man that wants to know' it's a Project G Bikini Top. You can make your own basic version although it won't fit quite as nicely as one of these, it won't be too far off. There are some how tos on Youtube. You can see it a bit better in this pic.

I'll finish the nitrous install once the built engine goes in so in the mean time - here's the turbo. I picked up an Nortech manifold from a Nutz member who broke his car before fitting it for the grand sum of £300. They usually retail for £1,000+ so (assuming it works) it was a real bargain. Nortech claim they've never had one of their manifolds crack and when you look at the quality of their work I can believe them. Proper welding porn
This might be a daft question, but is that a custom manifold specifically for a 5?
I can't find anything on their website! nortechperformance.com/search.php?search_query=mazda

Dan Ardler (Ardler Automotive) commissioned Nortech to do a small batch for MX5s a few years ago. There was a thread another forum but... 'kin Nutz.

reminds me of the manifolds made by Davefab ^^ similar quality. Dave fab have definitely got the right idea, and it's nice to see some quality tubular manifolds made in the UK. I might use them when I upgrade the turbo. I ordered a brake stopper from Dave Fab a few weeks back and it arrived the following day, which is pretty good service for a 2 man show. Nice part at a decent price. I think they'll have a great future ahead of them!
