Nice  The exhaust will probably get louder with time as it gradually blows wadding out the backbox  lol You'll have a left leg like a sprint cyclist after time in traffic  Now they've fixed the air leak issue, does the Air:Fuel ratio gauge give the same figures as those on the rolling road?? |

The idle and AFR are exactly as it was when I very first picked it up. So I guess very much like the final third rolling road. Amazing how one small screw hole could have affected the idle so much. For giggle factor when you are on a roll you could have an opening valve on the Holley for all the pops and crackles again. Although perhaps a bit too B.M.W these days |

My car sailed through it's new MOT today. Greenwells Garage was nice and quiet. Anyone waiting until the end of the special six month extention will likely be trying to get an MOT at the same time as half the country! You'll be setting yourself up for the same annual peak boom hassles from then onwards.

I finally found my V5C after moving. In a bag of papers, under a pile of junk, in a box of crap, behind some clothes, in a wardrobe. Totally organised.
Now I can send off my engine swop receipts to finally get the 1.8 changed to a 3.2

No I don't think so as he likes it NA. But maybe cosmetics and various mechanical improvements are on the cards. I will leave it for the new owner to take over this thread, if he wishes to do so. Or it's story may end here. Either way the car is in great hands as he knows his stuff.

I know he is considering stroking it, while it is being fully rebuilt. So more power and torque are on the cards.
