I'm looking to get a deep dish wheel and boss but the boss's seem to be bloody expensive for what they are. Are the cheap wish boss's any good? I know the steering wheels bend and break so won't be touching those.

Driftland did a video on these the other week, have a look for it on YouTube and see if you would be tempted by one

My first experience with a cheap steering wheel boss and wheel put me off for life.
The wheel bent and scared me to death, and once i replaced it with a better unit the cheap and bad quality ally casting on the boss split and came loose. Whilst driving
In my experience, if you buy cheap you will end up buying twice.
EDIT: And you'll be lucky if you don't have an accident in the first instance.

For safety reasons try and stick with a crushable boss that can deform on impact, rather than putting the steering wheel through your gut. In reality this may mean the standard momo boss.

It's for an NBFL and I would only get the boss from wish/ebay not the wheel itself. I'd be getting the wheel from Driftworks. I'll give the video a watch a later today as I'm at work.

I'd probably go with the idea that if it's good enough for driftworks to sell it and put their rep on the line, then it must be okay.

Why would you by a new not-really-that-nice wheel when you can get amazing momos and nardis (and personals, italvolanti, etc etc) on ebay etc.

I'm not talking about 'new knockoffs from chairman mao's big rock candy mountain' - but 2nd hand steering wheels, with decent photos etc. As long they're not buggered they can be perfectly serviceable.... IMO.

look for an NA Eunos MOMO boss, there must be loads out there with nothing to do (I have a spare I use for mock-up stuff...) probably cheaper than 'copies' & must be safer Rich.

Are the OEM Momo bosses collapsible, then?? I'm thinking I will need to go deepdish if I ever get a bucket seat sorted out!

Yeah the standard OEM boss is a crushable one. given enough force it'll fold and your organs might get bruised instead of blended.
