my son has been following the design and production of this PS5, craving to have one, his pS4 is only a year and half old ... but then he is a student in Game Design... but still! I'm too old to understand or want

ha. theres definately some hype about the 'new' ps5 but we have yet to see if its that good retail price of ~£450 is a lot but people are desperate for them... must confess our ps4 has died & I do play World Of Tanks but not going to buy one at the panic-price Rich.

I'll just wait for Gran Turismo 7 before picking one up, the only reason to try and get one on release is bragging rights as theres never enough titles to justify it. I've had every playstation from the first, (not a fanboy, a console is a console it just so happens sony has my favourite series but had pc/xbox etc) , what I will say is buy it on the year of release or as close to it as you can get when they are available (but dont go out of your way), especially if your kids want it. They don't change much in price over the course of their lifecycle so its much better value to get them early rather than close to the end of their life and end up wanting the next version. I've had the ps4 since release, its still going and my ps3 is in my office hooked up to a monitor

Lol!
I bought a stadia controller for 38 quid. Installed the Stadia app on my nvidia shield android tv.
No big console sitting in the living room. No big outlay, just pay for the games and they stream from the stadia server with no lag. Currently playing Farcry5 on it, and looking forward to Cyberpunk!

My gaming experience consisted of Quake and Carmaggedon on PC!!!😂 Doom, Quake & Wolfenstein were great, and Lemmings obviously more recently I have played Half-Life (Opposing Force) multiplayer on Steam for many years, was active on OP4Gunners and associated with the MSC clan and OFC - although not a member of either but my PC died ~2 years ago & I've not managed to get a good enough platform for steam to run on so ps4 & WOT Rich. (started with a ZX81!)

We used to have a 50p slot meter, I have lost count how many times the electricity would go before we had “saved” to cassette tape. Upgraded the spectrum with this, no more rubber keys t-lcarchive.org/dktronics-keyboard/
