TBH, Scooby has lost the plot. Indeed, its such a shame really. Dropping the SWRT in 2008 was probably made financial sense but they haven't been the same since. Still, I'm glad to own a something that has a chassis and platform that was once hammered round WRC stages by Burns, Mäkinen and Solberg when they were still competing in WRC  |

Coilovers fitted and happy not to be looking at 3" of wheelgap now, ride is firm but fine for a daily, little bit more NVH due to going from rubber topmounts to the pillow ball ones on the Tein.  SG9 STi Tein Flex Z by batousan, on Flickr Handling wise the reduction in body roll is very welcomed, feels solid and more like a proper car now. The lowest part of the car (side spats) is 4" off the ground so should be fine, I can still smash it down a single track b road with no hesitation so very happy with the result. The thing that struck me the most was how easy it was to fit these compared to the Roadster, yeah the lower strut bolts were tight but it was still so quick. I can swap the rears in 15-20 minutes!  Next up is to fit a Stage21 Celebrity lip (not the lip augmentation you see on tv lol) which is currently en route from Ogikubo in Toyko, coming via EMS so I won't hold my breath on that one any time soon but I think it should just line up nice with the side spats and rear. Oh and get the alignment checked out, I set the top mounts to 2/3rds of maximum -ve camber at the front which I think should be enough. Would love to do wheels but undecided as nice 18s are money and I still want my other half to drive it and not have to worry about dinging a set of Work/Volk/SSRs etc also finding something used that isn't a rota or a OZ superleggera and in 5x100 is tough/expensive, still theres always Speedline 2103's... |

those wheels look perfect tho I've been staring at them for 4 years now so just fancy a change really, the issue really is the cost of something nice on a daily like this plus the brembos make concave wheels impossible. Want to try white, and CRs are fairly affordable so considering that...  |
