I need a Dymo. Just so I can pass an mot though... Otherwise the tester wouldn't know what the random smattering of switches on the dash do! Love the car by the way, not so much resto-mod but more retro-mod If anyone needs labels... Let me know, got a Dymo, and loads of tape

Well I've managed to slice into 1 finger 3x with a razorblade and another finger 2x. Oh, and burned two fingers with hot glue. I think I've pulled this off though and it's a pretty cool little mod to my dash. . . if it's worked. Just got to put a few things back together and then we'll see

It's subtle, functional and a challenge to pull off (which is why I bottled it first time around and didn't attempt it). I've completely stripped and dismantled my crashpad, insert and switch panel setup. The old builders expanding foam and wooden dowel that I used to originally extend it was disintegrating, the leather had lifted and the dash insert was starting to come away from the switch panel. I've now fiberglassed a replacement section in from another crashpad and completely rengineered the way the switch panel is attached to create the new mod. . . NB: The leather hasn't been glued in place in these photo's

epic car entertainment happening. I can see it now. maybe some dvd players behind the head rests, so drivers stuck behind you can enjoy the lion king. again.
