I want to change class in sprinting to one with closer competition. Currently (due tot he 1.6 cc multiplier for FI) I am in the over 2000cc class. This is normally a small class of 4 or 5 cars with me being the smallest actual capacity. My two main opponents in local stuff have a 400bhp S14 and a 570bhp Supercharged mustang. If there's any kind of long corner or straight I get destroyed.
Going 1.8 and ITBs means I end up in the 1400cc to 2000cc class which is generally bigger (circa 10 cars) and I'l be up against stuff like Clio 182s, Civic and Integra TYpeRs, etc etc. Should be much more fun and even across all different course layout.
I'm expecting delivery of a 1.8 VVT lump in the next week or so.
