Having a look into these this morning, they look a lot of fun, and watching pro's fling their cars about with them I think its some action I want to get on. (Can't properly use the controls I have yet but that's beside the point...)
I've seen a couple of MX5 installs, how the tunnel is reinforced so it doesn't flex etc, and looking at the parts im not seeing a vast difference between a cheapo ebay one and a £130 demon tweeks one apart from the handbrake lock for MOTs, but I'll keep the manual for that.
I'm not fully understanding the fit though, it looks like you just tee into the front to rear brake pipes. how does the slave cylinder and the abs pump react to it?
If the brakes are all coming apart then its a good time to add a bias valve. I know nothing about the fit on these, just that they add the ability to control the front to rear brake force. I've not really wanted to change my bias before, but I also understand they make rolling burnouts easier on the car so I want one for that reason alone!
How do they fit and how would they react to a hydraulic handbrake?
Lastly, will either mod take the car out of production class on clubman/nat-b racing?
Cheers, knowledgeable peeps!

The more I look the more difficult I'm finding it to find clear answers...
I've now seen 2 setups, one which t-connectors onto the brake linke from the brake servo to the rear calipers, and one that chains from the servo to the hydro to the rear calipers.
The chain system makes sense to me more, as the hydro will only push onto the rear calipers and not apply brake pressure to the servo. I'm guessing that if I was to put in a brake bias valve I'd then chain that too, from servo to bias valve to hydro to caliper?
If anyone can confirm this I'd appreciate it..
