Question about heads, I'd quite like to get a bit more power in the future but preferably staying N/A. I know the mk2 heads flow better from factory, but is there a preferred head for porting etc, or is the optimal head flow achievable with either a mk1 or mk2 head? Cheers.

having seen the monster build at Skuzzle; they've gone with a mk2 head and the piston bores are insane... I can only assume they've chosen that head for a reason as the question was "money no option"

Is there a spec list for the monster build, skuzzle?
In terms of FI power restrictions, is there much difference between the mk2 1.8 and the vvt bottom and 1.8 top with forged rods setup?
Could you push to 250bhp on the 1.8 and 300bhp on the built block? I don't know the numbers at all, just explaining my question better...

Interested in what engine a Mk1 1.6 auto would have had, and what the pros and cons are? I thought it was lower compression but not sure about power ... or how the differences were made ... cams and ecu maybe?

Strangely enough, out of all the 5s I own the only one that's currently drivable is my 1.6 auto! Russell
