Hi folks - I'm new on here so just dropping in a first thread!
I have just got a 2007 NC ZSport and need to get wheels sorted for the odd trackday
Standard car is 17X7 ET55 with 205/45/17 tyres
Looking around a nice track setup might be 17X 7.5 with ET48 (wider track overall) and 215/45/17 tyres ( I can get my favourite DZ03 tyres in this)
I notice that others are running 8" wheels but is that deemed normal or getting a bit wide?
What tyres work well on an NC on track? They can be 'proper' track tyres as I'll have 2 sets.
thanks!

Those look lovely - What tyre size did you go for?

215 45 17. Just a touch wider than standard. I went for Uniroyal Rainsports as it's a daily. Great all round tyres but no good for track work as in the dry they over heat. I'd be looking for something like a Toyo AR1 or Nankang NS2R. That's lots of trackday rubber available and the costs vary hugely. nickd runs MOT Motorsport and should be able to help you out with recommendations and supply.

I use 8" with a 48 offset, I have never run track rubber so can't comment, I competed running road rubber, continental contisport 5s and seemed to be very capable on sprints and hills don't last long though, dead by 3mm Will be trying 1B next year so am looking at AD08R, R888R or Cup 2s right now.

Thanks all - Nick - what wheels and tyres have you been using? ( the words "wheels" "tyres" you have above are links back to this page so not sure if they are meant to link somewhere else?
I think we are down to 7.5" or 8" with a ET48 offset.
