Try an airfield trackday first. They're always the best to start on as they have plenty of run off with only cones to hit if you get it really wrong.
Motorsport Events run some really good days at Abingdon.

hi Pingu,
best advise is to book up with one of these days where there are a few of us in attendance, i for one am more than willing to take you round/sit in with you to build confidence in yourself and more importantly, the car. Now im no Nico Rosburg but i, and some others on here, are experienced track monsters. Dont dismiss bedford as a starter track, lots of run off and nice wide circuit where you wont create congestion.....get yerself booked in

Bedford was my 2nd ever trackday and it was great. Never felt unsafe or pverawed by it - just lots of space to have fun

I dont mind taking people out either. Usually my girlfriend jumps in if she has insisted that she comes to the show or track day. I will be alone on this one. Hopefully drive up with shelby if he books in too. The premier inn in bedford is dirt cheap atm. 31 pound for a twin room on the Friday night. I dont feel like driving 3 and a bit hours on the day! Hopefully this can be a little warm up track day to get us buzzing for 5 fest!!  |
