First post on here! Good to meet you at Bedford Jack (I was in the silver mk1) it was great fun. Quite slippy, it wasn't easy to resist the urge to slide about! I think one of my most fun sessions was when we were out in convoy swapping places. The mx5s were going well, with the greasy conditions some of the quick cars were having an even tougher time. I was quite glad I'd towed it that day, when I got home and unloaded the brake peddle has gone straight to the floor. Brake bleed and new pads needed next I think!

I done a day on that track layout this time last year.... absolutely Loved it! It was raining when we arrived, dried out during the day and then rained again towards the end of the day. Like you mention it was sooo much fun, learning the track in the damp and wet then being able to go balls out in the dry then being able to push hard in the wet for fast laps.. Really wanted to get to one again first part of the year but the car has other ideas! Yeah it's sublime. When it started drying out at the end of the day I was one of the last people out there. Got into a rhythm had the whole track to myself pretty much. Just kept pounding around. Did not want it to end. The lap times were tumbling. The brakes kept getting better. Ugh bliss. There was even a moment of clarity when I came down the straight and noticed some sort of eagle sitting on the barrier right next to the track staring straight at me eye to eye. I spend past and it did not even flinch. On the nextlap he waited for me to come again then soared off. LOL

This was a fun 5 minutes of the day. Something about chasing hot hatches that turns me on.

I was there end of Jan, a great track I thought. Was also cold and wet, great fun. Only spun 3 times.....There was a McLaren 675LT there, I swear he wasn't having as much fun as me.
