I've got a few litres of ATF and I'm not afraid to use them.
I simply don't have time to get this fixed before I go.
My alternative vehicle, which has no leaks, has a failing DMF (god I hate DMFs) - I'd rather suffer a mild leak than risk a DMF failure.
Feel free to chastise, etc.

Where's it leaking from? Mines from the cooler pipes round the front bumper. It's been like it for 2 years.

I don't know where it was leaking from but it was whining when it was empty. Will chuck another tin of leak-fix too tomorrow too.

Personally I'd just take the power steering belt off, drain the remaining fluid and run it without power steering till its fixed properly.
I had mine let go completely on track before without warning and its not the best. I did the above and ran mine with the power steering disabled for about 6 weeks without issue.

Sounds like a plan, dale. Just a little tension and pull the belt off, right ? My arms could do with a second workout.

I just cut the belt off in the pits, but iirc from fitting the replacement it's fairly easy to loosen the pump to release the tension in the belt.
