Hello All,
I'm going to be ordering a couple of the bendy flag type things shortly for club stands/events. They're flaming expensive though. Looking at about £250 for a pair although I need to get some more quotes.
What are peoples thoughts on operating a war chest like Nutz did/do? I'm not expecting people to rustle up £250 to cover the full costs BTW! JUst looking for ideas to raise a bit of cash to contribute to the cause.

When you do a BBQ at a meet. Put the profit to cover the stuffs. And get a donate button on the site if you can.

Shame we cant get away with a barbecue in west meon hut car park. Could make some p for the club! Next week i will swap a beer night for a club donation.!

They can be pretty accoadating and have let people camp there in the past, do bbq etc. On the provision that they buy drinks in the pub while they are open. I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask. |
