So, I got a call from an old mate who'd I lost contact with. Turns out he'd got an old G reg Eunos Roadster that had failed it's MOT in June & had sat on SORN ever since.... It's a silver 1990 1.6 MK1 with Team Dynamics 5 spoke alloys with decent Yokohama Prada2 tyres, Oh & it has a Kaaz Dif. The paintwork is a little ropey (& mouldy) but amazingly it's pretty solid underneath- there's 1 very small rust bubble at the back of the drivers side rear wing, but the rest of the metalwork is far less corroded than my NBFL.
Original plan was to swap the diff for the torsen in the MK2.5, take off the wheels then scrap it but it's just far too good a car to do that to.
What it does need is new brakes+pipes all round & a coil spring & a few bulbs to get thru a MOT. No big dramas.
Very tempted to keep it....

Go for it mate too many MK1s are being scrapped when they could be saved!

Ok, it's defo going to be saved. Just got to keep it low profile & off the radar from the Mrs for a bit. It seems that 5 cars is too many.....
What it desperately needs is a decent shock/spring setup. The std ride height is ridiculous- anyone got any 2nd hand Meisters/HSDs lying around?

OMG, talk about going off on a tangent...... Must resist looking at turbo kits...

Andy Laurence from Bristol Motor Club has a set of Meister GT1 he bought for his Mk2 Supercharged but after 2 superchargers and a sum total of 100miles driving, he never fitted them before he got shot of the car, GT1s have been great on my car, could be good upgrade for your mk2 moving your current dampers to the mk1?
It is not a cheap damper though so not sure it is what you are after but he has had them a while waiting for someone to pay a fair price and might take an offer.

Cheers Sandy, good idea. But am planning on keeping the NB as is & the GT1s would significantly eat into the turbo budget

If you're staying n/a... fancy a skimmed head, blink 'stage 1' cams and a fujtisubo catless 4:1 manifold? ^^
