Well after the fiasco that was Photobucket ruining my miserable excuse for a build thread over on Nutz I’d thought I would start one here.
The car was purchased in August 14 from Joe (Madda) and the original advert described it as thus:
Which means as standard it comes with:
15” BBS Wheels
Kevlar Recaro Bucket Seats
Yellow strut brace
Torsen differential with a nice high ratio
Air conditioning (fully working!)
Central locking
Chassis:
Tein Super Street suspension
Cusco roll bar with large spreader plates
Cusco harness bar
Brakes:
Brembo rotors all round
New green stuff pads front and rear
Wilwood Dynalite 4 pot front calipers
Flyin Miata big brake kit on the rear
Engine:
Low mileage mk2 engine
Begi log manifold
Big front mounted intercooler
Custom made downpipe with braces to engine block (prevents common issue with turbo mounting studs working loose)
Garrett 2560r turbo
Rx7 injectors
Custom stainless steel exhaust. (Sounds fantastic, not load but throaty)
Bailey dump valve
Flyin Miata induction and intercooler piping
Aftermarket clutch
Crinkle painted rocker cover
Exterior:
Mohair roof
Original 15” BBS wheels (10mm spacers to clear the brakes)
Mudflaps
Interior / monitoring / electronics:
Alpine CDE 103BT stereo with bluetooth and hands free microphone
Pioneer component speakers installed with dash mounted tweeters.
Alacantra cover fitted to instrument cowel
Aluminium gear-knob
Sparco steering wheel
Thatcham immobiliser
Motec ECU. Running 7psi and 15psi. (185bhp and 230bhp ish at this stage)
TechEdge wideband sensor and gauge
Oil temp gauge
Boost gauge
Knocklite
Pic of me and my friend Sam (female owner of a black NC) crossing the bridge to Wales to pick up the car.
And pic looking over the Black Hills on the way back to Reading, where I was based at the time.
