Hah, how can you watch that? He's so annoying! I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds him annoying! A lot of these Youtubers produce good content. I find the problem is when they get popular, they become full of themselves. The good content is still there, they just love the sound of their own voice so much, they waffle and talk Canoe Spheres, and the content becomes lost in the BS.

It took several attempts. Haha, you're more persistent than me! To be honest, I turn off any review that starts by openly slating the thing that you're reviewing. He seems to hate Ryobi and is looking for any fault he can. I think if you look further afield, the general consensus is that Ryobi tools are OK for their price point. Spend 50%+ more and buy a Makita / Bosch / Dewalt equivalent and you probably get a better quality product. I honestly don't get enough use out of power tools to justify that, and I will freely admit that I haven't ever bought anything else so my experience is entirely based on only owning Ryobi power tools - so maybe I don't know what I'm missing.

I have the 1/2 inch impact and it has some amount of torque. Fabulous at some DIY work in the house, not used on the 5's yet....
Over the past 3 years or so I have bought the drill, impact driver, tall led lamp, grinder and sander. Have one charger and 2 batteries and I like the modularity and usability of the one + system.

I think Bosch are a bit hit and miss, I have had 2 Bosch drill drivers both of which had problems with batteries and charging. I still have one which I use as a spare but it's not as good as the Ryobi. Makita and Dewalt are the kiddies but they cost more so unless you are a tradesman or building your own house not sure they are worth the extra!

Got round to ordering one of these a couple of weeks ago, and I am really pleased with it. Came with a lowly 1.3ah battery, so I purchased a 5.0ah one, and it makes mincemeat of rusty bolts, that in the past, I’ve struggled with breaker bars to free. Why did I not buy one before? Might not be a pro tool, but more than robust for what I need. Love it!

You won't regret it. Get yourself a set of decent ear-defenders to go with it too. I find these to be very good.

Don’t tempt me anymore! I’ve already ordered a chainsaw and a circular saw. This might start to get expensive
