After a recent super super sketchy situation....
My Battery caught fire, on the side of the road, I had to waft it out with the carpet/plastic battery cover (which was also melted and on fire) I thought a fire extinguisher would be a good thing to keep around, because as some of you may know, my car has a mind of its own sometimes and likes to do silly things.
So I got a little 1kg dry powder job, because I figured if something like this happens again, I can pop the boot/bonnet and get the nozzle under the gap and spray and pray.
Where do I mount the bugger? I want it ideally infront/under the passenger seat where I can grab it easily, because 80% of the time its just me in the car. Does anyone do a good mount/bracket? The extinguisher is in a rubber/plastic mount, and has two holes to mount onto something, but I'd ideally like to avoid drilling holes in the car, so something that goes from the passenger seat/rail would be the best.
Or other ideas on where to mount?

Want to order a GCF one asap because I'm fed up of it rolling around in the footwell. Just want to confirm if it stops the passenger seat moving

Don’t use dry powder, anything non conductive but NOT dry powder, you would not believe how much mess they make....

Mine was bolted to the floor in front of the passenger seat because racecar and low centre of gravity. Also, I wanted it to be as secure as possible, I wouldn't want a several kilo metal lump flying around my head if things went wrong - certainly wouldn't entertain cable ties! Can't find a better picture but to give you an idea. It did limit seat movement to the front a bit but how often do you need that and if you do, it's just a few secs to get the extinguisher out of the mount anyway.
