chaps, the men that are Team Sweden Hoonage are going to Spa this year. Plan is Sunday 15th July depart for Belgium via Eurotunnel with Hoonage across to Geaux for the mandatory photoshoot then on to Spa. Nurburgring is an hour up the road if anyone fancies a few laps in the evening. Monday, full open pit lane teackday at Spa. tuesday 17th bit of brekkie, drive out local then make our way back. Current cost for the trackday is £399 though our Wing Commander is trying to negotiate a cheaper deal for numbers. We currently have 12 or so of all shapes, sizes and performance cars, committed to the trip. please let me know if you are interested and i can link you in to the group. Please bear in mind we are a group of "enthusiastic" drivers that have been driving together for a number of years. we like to get to where we are going quickly  but with safety paramount, so if you enjoy your "spirited" driving you would be most welcome. cheers Darren |

I signed up for the email yes but i replied to to the mailing chain saying i wasnt up for it anymore. I Opted for a ring trip instead. Funds wont let me do both  |

Due to my son having to bail out of this trip🙄 i have space in my car for someone experienced in trackdays to accompany me and share the driving.This is purely a selfish request to reduce the cost of me flying solo and paying a lot of hard earned for a trackday, you will not be groomed, raped or sexually abused in any way.😁
Cost would be £400 to cover trackday, tunnel crossings and fuel. Hotels and food/beer extra tho there is a possibility of a shared room with one of the lads that would bring b+b cost down to £50 per night.
My car is a Mk1 turbo with 230bhp so lively enough to enjoy Spa without being overwhelming.....we are a serious driving group that respect the roads if not the speed limits and "make progress" .....a friendly bunch of petrolheads that would make you welcome.

That was an epic trip.
As our overpaid prima donna footballists never made the world cup final we made our way straight to the Ring. Couple of comfy laps round there 2 up with a boot full of luggage and tools then off to Spa for beers, dinner and sleep.
A light brekkie in the morning then the short drive to the circuit. What a place, stunning track in beautiful surroundings.
Sighting laps were useful and i was on the pace with all the supercars there😁....unfortunately tjat was the only time i was up with them😂
Its never happened to me, being in the bottom 10% on a teack day but i was totally outdone by Lambo's, GT3's, McLarens and Ferrari's....
As a circuit,magical, for my modest 230bhp too fast and too much uphill. I think a minimum of 300bhp was required to be anywhere nearer where i normally run.
Great day mind, with overtaking both sides and under braking you need to have your witts about you.....
Done it now, not sure if i will again, unless i sneak Lezbo's 4 ltr blown V8 jag engine in the Spazda the week before😄

Near miss when the Porsche popped and lost power mid corner, i took evasive to the outside not expecting him to pull straight off.........was scarier than it looks on vid i promise😱🏎🏎
