I know it's not an MX5, but I need to come to you and make a confession.... In a moment of eBay drunkenness, I have purchased a 1979 Yamaha XT500. Just like the bad guys had in James Bond . I'm sorry. The MX5 is sorted, so I was looking for another project and had looked at Land Rover Mk2/3's, Mini Cooper S, but single cylinder two-wheeled madness overtook me. That and the plan is to enter into a trials competition for old twin shock bikes in the Pyrenees next year with the brother in law, simply got the better of me. So, you are the first to know. All being well (once I have told the wife), I'll start the resto over the coming months. Hope you can forgive me.
