So our green machine has less power than any of my hair dryers It's a mk2 1.8 uk car, though I think the belts are the same across the models. Looks to me like both cams are under-rotated by one tooth at TDC, are you folk in agreement or am I seeing something that isn't there? Top pic is the greenie, bottom a correct library pic:

Hoping its out to be honest as it would explain the poor performances!
Will see if Will can get a pic of the crank pulley later, I'm told that is at tdc though.

Can't tell you from that. The outer may have slipped on the rubber damper... so those marks are crap... but also 10 degree out from top dead centre if the pulley hasn't slipped.

Thanks mate, we took the pulley off and checked it properly, was all good unfortunately!
