I little bit of video from the recent 750 Motor Club Enduro race at Spa. We lose out massively in out little MK1, especially in mid range torque to the Tailgate McNoIndicate in front, but we get past in the end. The MRF Tyres are fantastic, great grip and consistent the whole race, putting us on the top step of the podium.

Will give this a watch later...
The MRF's are MSA list 1C? I see they're E marked so assume they are road legal? What's the wear rating?
I need a set of asymmetric track tyres as I spend to much time going clockwise at Knockhill and scrub the tyres on one side only!

I need a set of asymmetric track tyres as I spend to much time going clockwise at Knockhill and scrub the tyres on one side only! Tread wear ratings are an American domestic market requirement designed for consumers to rate tyre life for (very literally) highway use. It is determined by convoy driving against a control tyre. It has precious little relationship to either grip in general or life on circuit. You can't even draw a basic correlation because you can destroy a 400 road tyre far faster than a 50 circuit tyre if you drive hard on circuit because the heat changes everything. The MRF tyre is not, at least at the moment, intended for the American market and therefore has no requirement for a rating any way. I will say however that because of some quite clever design, they are actually pretty durable as this comment will show. But were still able to deliver laps on 3.04, which for the power of the car is pretty impressive, and still looked very usable after. ZTR
The AR1's on the other hand were gone after the first race and required new for the second race. Report
