Hi
A while ago, there was a GB on Nutz by Ardler for 620cc EV14 injectors - does anyone have the dead times for the injectors from that GB?
Obvs Nutz is b0rk so I can't search back to see if they were listed there or not...
Thanks
Jon

Hi Jon, Information for these injectors is a little hard to come by. All I could find was a .pdf published by Bosch which included a reference curve www.bosch-motorsport.de/content/downloads/Products/resources/16347177099/en/pdf/Injection_Valves_en.pdfI put a curve through the Bosch graph and ended up with the figures below: Volts - Dead time (ms) 7 - 2.498282 7.5 - 2.175794063 8 - 1.909692 8.5 - 1.691171563 9 - 1.51221 9.5 - 1.365566063 10 - 1.24478 10.5 - 1.144173563 11 - 1.05885 11.5 - 0.984694062 12 - 0.918372 12.5 - 0.857331562 13 - 0.799802 13.5 - 0.744794062 14 - 0.6921 14.5 - 0.642293563 15 - 0.59673 15.5 - 0.557546062 16 - 0.52766 I'm pretty sure the reason for dead times not being widely published is that they are application specific. That is the ECU driving the injector and the associated injector wiring and fuel system plumbing all play a part in determining the actual deadtime. I would start with those figures above and fine tune the deadtime in the vehicle.

Thanks - is that for those specific injectors though, or just generic Bosch EV14s? From what I understand it's dependent on the factors you state as well as the specific injector... I was hoping during the GB a sheet was provided with the injectors, but it doesn't look like it... There is a process for calculating it with megasquirt, but a datasheet is much easier
