I will be there in the Bristol mx5 challenge class Looking forward to this - the short run will not show up the mx5 lack of speed as much as the GWS!! It will be strange though because AFAIK we won't be doing Camp corner It's free to spectate and there is an interesting entry list

Hopefully I can get to this one, I see no blockers right now, the number of events I have paid for and had to abandon last minute this year is shocking. Must see if I can service my car this week.

Well at last Sandy & I get to compete at the same time! There’s the Bristol MX5 class too. Come & say hi in the paddock. We competed at the same time before at Shelsley, I just pipped you, 0.04, but you only had a 1.6 and no boost , the challenge will be strong, the s2000s and the Porsches are going to be a challenge too, hoping home court advantage will help but not driven the track for a long time, or in fact my mx5, Anglesey was its last outing. Doing three sisters the day after.

Yes, it’s without Camp which is the best corner on the circuit (also where I seem to make up most time).
The CM entry is big with at least another 6 dotted around outside our class for some reason. Yes the pork are a problem especially with all the driver aids helping out....
Sandy, driving at 3 Sisters the next day? You nutter! Better take it easy at CC then...😁😁

Not really sure where I lie on 1A, Not done the event for a while, I did a 73.59 as my official PB but that was after a massive off, so not full potential.
Taking the int time from Great Western Sprint which is the Canoe Mayo course I have done a number of 71s on 1B (AD08) and mid 72s on 1A.
So we should be battling if I can pull it together.

Well done to you to mate, it was a big mx5 class and you got your first sprinting pot Also, Well done to Howard for pipping me to 2nd in CM class , I just didn't seem to hook it up, my time was good to be fair but I was such a pussy in the corners, need to find out where I've put my balls. 0.5 off my times from 2 years ago on 1As. I was expecting a drop into 71s.

Yeah it was a good day out: Really run well by Bristol MC.
Well done Rickystickers & Sandys on their prizes, hope that 3Sisters goes well for you Sandy!
I was pretty much right on the limit for both my timed runs, the difference being 0.01sec between the two & quicker than my last visit.

My Combe run, c- could do better
Three sisters was a nice little track but so wet so I never got the measure of it, I was leading over Roger and Matt in the S2000s but like Anglesey Roger showed his true pace in round 3 and battered me, good days racing though, I split the Hondas in 2nd.

I had a few slippy slidy runs this was my attempt to tidy up and go quicker, which I did but played too safe, I could do some outtakes from the other laps, it was quite exciting especially the water splash where I was a passenger having a nice little rusty boat ride until car found the ground again 🤣 Think my lack of competitive driving this year has lost me that little bit extra, still reasonably quick but I'm not quite on it, too cautious. When it was full wet I found it very grippy, as the water subsided it seemed to get quite greasy for me, surprisingly the lads on r888r were finding loads of grip. Photo from the day by Anthony Mitchell, look at his gallery at single seaters 🤣 m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=212428779427682&id=100019816839414
