Hi
I have my first Autosolo on Sunday....I expect to do very badly but have to start somewhere
What should I be doing with tyre pressures, is it worth adjusting from road settings and if so what's recommended?
Thanks

An autosolo is typically on non-trackday rubber - so - the usual advice for a road car with road tyres - 26psi cold for something the weight of an mx5. Maybe play with higher pressures if your tyres have soft sidewalls..
Unless the autosolo is conducted on a 'perfect' track, which is very unlikely, it's typically carparks with rough transitions or some rally stages with, well, awful transitions, or grass.. road settings will be most sensible.

If it is your first solo then just run as you would on the road. Changing setting won't make much difference to your times , seat time makes the difference
finding your way around the course can be tricky when you first start to take advantage of the track walk and when on your run say the cone numbers out loud
it honestly helps, I used to do it after I had a few wrong tests and do it now still if I am a bit unsure of the layout.
Autosolo is great fun so talk to people in the paddock, generally very friendly events
