Hey guys, I was mostly a lurker over on Nutz but may post a build thread here, so thought an introduction would be a good start. I've had 3 MX5's over the years; Starting with the best of them all - 250BHP and one of the cleanest I've ever seen. The oil pump failed, I brought a new engine, opened it up and it was f*cked. I broke the car and I still regret it. Move on to a Mk2, previously owned by Steve Woodings who won the FDMC Autosolo championship in it Fixed loads of broken sh*t, mainly with a hammer and brick, but never got on well with the car, possibly a disappointment factor coming from my previous one. Finally, the new girl, who I will hopefully start a thread about. Purchased from Carl Leonard and needs a new Headgasket and a lot of tidying up, will hopefully be worth it. The workmanship is fantastic. Tucked away for its headgasket Once its running I'll try and get down to a Bracknell meet, will be entering as many autosolo's as possible once its done as well as a few trackdays and a Ring trip. I'll try and contribute knowledge/stupidity to the forum as and when I can! Thanks for the new home Mr Horne.

Hey man, welcome on board. What happened to the RS? I loved that car. Hopefully see you at the 2nd FDMC AutoSolo, I couldn't make sunday due to other racing commitments.

I hated that RS! I couldn't tell you why, I just never got on with it. It went to a good home, a Scotsmen bought it to reshell a hill climb car into!
