Aarrggh, much want but somewhat skint (saving for a house deposit - hence slow progress on the 5 ) if you've still got it in a few months I might message... Rich.

This is a massive thick and heavy blue folder with hundreds of massively detailed full page technical diagrams showing how to build an MX5 down to every nut, bolt and washer. All parts labelled with codes etc, as per main dealer computer screens etc. This is a million miles away from those utterly prarrie canoe Haynes manuals. Another planet. Even has full wiring diagrams etc. Every internal part of the engine, you name it.
Usually ropey ones covered in grease are £150+. This is near mint. 95% as new condition and I'm a fussy git! Taking a loss at £100. Bought in case we needed it for the V6 swap. Now gathering dust. Handy if you run a business or want to do things properly.
Is this the same as the silver covered version? Or even more in depth?!

Not sure what "the silver one" is. This is a huge beast is all I know. The official manufacturer mega manuals are amazing from just an illustration / diagram point of view. A staggering amount of work goes into this. Originally they cost hundreds and I can see why.

Rich, I can take a deposit to secure. Said the evil whisper on your shoulder as tempting as this is, I always prefer to buy outright (I dont do debts / credit etc. and own everything I have ) I am buying a lottery ticket tonight though Rich.

I was thinking of the ones that look like this, but with different colours for the different model years, IIRC! www.faxonautoliterature.com/1990-Mazda-MX-5Miata-Repair-Shop-Manual-Original-P20771.aspx

As I recall I had one of those too. That version is tiny, maybe 1" thick or so? This folder is MASSIVE. I suspect it is expaned as it is maybe 3 times thicker, if not more. It has an entire extra section on just the electronics with diagrams and circuits too. From sketchy memory, but I think they came in sections. So some may be just one section for sale etc. The folder has everything produced in one item.
