a mk2.5 SVT with sport brakes I have roddisons pads. the lug size on the caliper carrier and the cutout in the pads seem wildly different, see the photos photos of pads
I ordered a replacement pair of "sport" caliper carriers from autolik but the lugs seem to e the same size What part is wrong ?

Are the 2.5 brakes similar (in size) to other setups but with specific (different) pad shapes, maybe? FWIW I'd just live with the pad rattle, but I appreciate it sounds like something is going to fall off when you have it on a road car

Be worth contacting Rodders and seeing if it's a problem with that batch of pads

Glad that's sorted. My white car has the same rear brake (1.8 big svt sport) and honestly I don't think you could safely fit the pads without the clips!!
