Hello all, I'm thinking of anodising some aluminium parts & trying to decide if its worth setting up for diy or just easier / better to send to a pro I've played around on small parts in the past but fancy the protection if not the colouring of Anodising as opposed to paint... any thoughts or recomendations? Rich.

I’ve seen it done in an industrial plant, lot of faff and acids, not the sort of thing I’d do at home. But then, you’re Zed, not me, so have a look at this (If you haven’t already) astro.neutral.org/anodise5.shtml
