Newbie in Swindon

Hi All

I picked up my 90 BRG NA6 end of last year and I'm now sat looking at it thinking what to do where to start and how to learn.

Can anyone suggest good reading on how to look after the car properly.  Will get to 'how to make it fast/bling better/lower' later, just interested in good reading for basic TLC first.  Looked on Amazon and just about every book seems to have something missing.

I'm not a great mechanic but normally tackle just about anything before handing it over to a grown up mechanic to deal with.

Welcome aboard Jim, plenty of info and guides on here to have a read through........ and if you want temptation for the wallet, have a look at the reader's rides section. Plenty of bling and upgrades on my thread and the others

I would recommend taking a look at YouTube as there is some great content creators out there that use the MX5/Miata platform and can show you most jobs.

Welcome! I’m also based in Swindon!
There are so many videos etc online that it is almost not worth buying books to read really, I think the car passion channel on YouTube is pretty good and has loads of videos to step you through mechanical bits and bobs
