1.6 NA.
The feed goes to the front of the rail, and the return comes of the back end (with the FPR). Is that correct?
I have found lots of posts, with lots of contradictions and also referencing the hard lines, but i have removed them and fitted my own lines, so the descriptions aren't much use...

And, asking for a friend ..
If my friend has connected them up the wrong way, would there be any damage?

No damage, but you would be trying to push fuel through the FPR in reverse. Try swapping them over

I can hear fuel going back into the tank, but presumably there is just no pressure in the correct side to get fuel out of the injectors? I'm not seeing any in the pistons...
The lines are a pain in the rear canoe to get to because I have replaced them and put the new lines directly onto the fuel rail. My fault for not thinking ahead. Or doing it properly in the first place.
Edit: whoever set up the swearing filter to put 'rear canoe' is a genius.

The prosecution rests...
So, rewinding a tad, did you really need a new loom in the first place?

Loom -yes, definitely.
