Started my car to drive to work this morning, drove it across my driveway before noticing I had nigh on 0 oil pressure. It was just hovering above the stop in the gauge.
Was fine yesterday, drove it about 40miles and the gauge looked a little shakey but held at sensible pressures, had a look around, haven't dropped my oil or anything and all seems intact! Engine didn't sound rough when it was started up either! Bit stumped, but had to take the van to work. Due to being a bit rushed I didn't get to look properly, anyone got any ideas?
Thanks.

Swap out the sensor first. It could have failed. Or if you have access to one, borrow a proper capillary gauge and hook it up.

Wiggled the sender signal wire... Now have oil pressure again. Bloody thing, must have knocked it when I changed the oil filter on Friday!
Still, some what relieved!
