Whistling Clutch

It may be me just loosing it but…

I took the car out for a wee blast yesterday and I swear that I can hear a faint whistle / wheeze type noise when depressing the clutch followed by a similar but slightly different noise when released! Anyone came across this before?

The missus' car did that forever, never did break! lol

My clutch sounds like it's rattling at idle sometimes, going away when I depress the pedal - if it's not stopped working yet, keep on driving til it does
