Bucket seat side mounts

Hi
I have a cobra monaco sport to go into my mk1 so am in need of some side mounts.
Any thoughts on brand or where to buy?
Skid nation at Bofi seems the obvious answer but is it the right one?
Any advice / experiences welcome.

Hi Mark,

The Cobra Monaco is a super popular seat for an MX5, and as such any side rail manufacture would have had these seats in mind when designing.
As the rails are very universal with many holes, they do fit a wide variety of seats.
Your absolute best bet, would be to contact the rail manufacture directly and ask them if they have experience fitting their rails to Cobra Monaco's.

For rail recommendations: I have a Skidnation one on my Sparco seat. They work well and are very stout.

You can purchase through Bofi as you mentioned, but it is also worth checking out them directly at www.skidnation.com

I've bought direct from them a few times and have only had positive experiences.
They are also very active on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram if you wanted to ask them about your seat directly.

Bofi are also very active online, and I'm sure they could also answer your question from experience.

Good to hear the skid nation mounts are up to the job.
The Monaco’s are listed as compatible so should be no worries there.
I was just interested to hear from someone with first hand experience of them.
