DIY NB Shorty Console

Evening All,

Have any of you tried making your own short console for an NB?

I’ve seen a few different styles for sale, but none of them look great (IMO).

Has anyone cut up the OEM console? Between the arm rest/cubby and the switch plate?

Saint Nick is bringing me a 3D Printer in a few weeks, so should be able to knock up an end plate to finish it off “nicely”.

Bit late to this one. Mine was cut back (butchered) by a previous owner & looks pretty crap. Jass do some shorty consoles that might be a source of inspiration..

Not too late, as I still haven't gotten round to doing it.

I'm trying to find a cheap one I can butcher, rather than using the one from my car.

I've found a model to print one from scratch, but it's too short for my liking as it doesn't cover up the holes in the carpet and mean relocating the window switches.
