NC servicing

Does anyone have a uk service manual for a 1.8 NC1 or a link to one? There wasnt one in my car when i bought it. If not what oil weights and how much are people using in uk climate for a 1.8 5spd for daily driving? Id like to do engine gearbox and diff. Also was there any physical service booklets from factory in late 2005? If there is can i order one for my car? I need to go to the people who serviced it for the previous owner, they cant give me an invoice due to GDPR but they can stamp a service book. Thank you for your help!
edit: is a KNN air filter element worth it? I havent got the money to insure a car with a cone filter so is that my only alternative?

re: air filters, I don't think they really make a lot of difference if using the OEM airbox setup, so I wouldn't necessarily spend a lot more wedge on one over an OEM filter.

(I may be talking nonsense, of course lol)


re: engine oil, MX5Parts seems to be suggesting either 5w30 Semi Synthetic or 0w40 Fully Synthetic:

I'm slightly confused by the suggestion that one could/should use a thinner when cold / thicker when hot Fully Synthetic. Surely recommended grades of oil (i.e. thickness when hot/cold) should be the same regardless of oil type?
