Hi everyone, Iam a new member and own a Mk 3 NC. with folding hardtop. I am 76 years young and 6ft 4in tall. I am finding that my drivers seat is uncomfortable when driving for more than half to three quarters of an hour. I assume that the padding / springs are worn out. Therefore I would like to ask if these can be replaced or would it be better to fit a better seat ? If a new seat is needed can anyone recommend a replacement that will fit and connect to the seat belt plug under the seat On this subject when I tried to remove the seat some time ago I could not separate the plug under the seat, any ideas ? am I doing something wrong?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated Welcome to the forum! We have some similarly aged existing members IIRC What is it about the current seat that is not comfortable? Lower back support missing? Pain under your thighs? Just too firm?

I am a bit older and suffered similar problems with my 2007 NC, more related to the clutch and driving position, with the steering wheel feeling uncomfortably close. I tried various combinations of spacers to increase the seat height and clutch pedal adjustments, but eventually sold the car. Now back in an NA, it just fits me perfectly… Good luck.
