Soft top patch repairs

Anyone done a patch repair on their roof? Is there any kits that are recommended or ones to avoid?

Even better, is there kits that look like badges? Maybe a logo/rising sun/mx5 logo? Would look more like a mod than a repair.

I know it'll never be as good as a new roof, but i have a hole and its raining - I need it faster than my wallet allows!

I've used wet suit patch kits in the past. The only thing that actually seems to work for any period of time.

Where is the whole on the hood?
