Silly question PERHAPS, but do all automatic mx5s have a bleeper? (Like a lorry one, just inside only). I assume it's so you don't accidentally put it into reverse. I've had a couple auto non mx5 cars myself but never has this on either of them. It's driving jayne crazy so if I can disable it for her that would be great. TIA |

Mine does it.
I've considered disconnecting the buzzer, but then realised I'm actually kinda used to it now, and it not buzzing on R might make me forget

Excellent, sounds like it's not some dodgy aftermarket fitment then. Now to find where the buzzer is and silence it for all eternity.
