After a year and a half of ownership i am now putting up for sale my MX5 turbo.
I have used this for both road and track and it has been totally reliable on both. this is a very capable and quick track car and with good pilotage it absolutely smashes the corners.
the turbo install was done some years before i took ownership so i have no idea what it is or how its mapped, over my head im afraid. I do know it has a K&N cone filter, inter-cooler and re-circulation which minimises turbo lag. Estimate around 200bhp.
Brakes are the 275mm upgrade currently on Mintex front and Yellowstuff rear pads. New calipers recently fitted up front.
Suspension, i believe, is by Bilstein and is a fixed set up. part of the reason for sale as im getting on a bit and feeling it on the road.
Alloys are currently shod with 205/50 15 Yokohama AD08 and have fair tread left.
There is a TR Lane roll over bar fitted behind a pair of Cobra buckets. Interior is pretty tidy with boost gauge, oil and water temp gauges fitted, CD radio, leccy windows and power steering.
The hood is in good condition and has no tears or splits.
Externally the bodywork cleans up nicely but there are scuffs and marks. there is some rust appearing round the rear arches and the sills have had work done in the past. Undercarriage is solid and tidy, i could paint under here prior to sale but i'd rather it be seen for what it is.
I brought the car to replace my normally aspirated Eunos as it wasnt quick enough, job done, but i didnt want to sell the other one. Sense is now telling me to sell both and buy one good all rounder.
please feel free to ask questions and i will be happy to oblige the answers.
Darren
