Have just finished putting my supercharged engine back together after replacing the cam and main crank seal and fitting a new waterpump, whist carrying out the 'loctite fix' on my mildly worn short nose crank.
Started it up and after warming it up and adjusting the base idle correctly, I acheived an almost perfect idle of 850rpm and my previously horrible AFR readings settled back down after a few minutes to a perfect 14.7.
Then, I discovered my IAT was unplugged. Plugged it back in and now everything is running totally bollox again. Anyone out there have a clue why this is? I'm starting to hate this tuning lark.

You still not taken it down to Skuzzles? I know learning his stuff is interesting but there becomes a point when getting a pro to sort it is so much easier. For the cost of a couple of hours on the dyno you'll have a car that runs great and makes bags of safe power.

Just sold my Car Make Corn*s exhaust so guess where the money is going to be spent Going to try and autotune it well enough this afternoon to get it to Winchester. Was planning on coming on the 21st for the dynoday anyway. May just leave it there then. What intercooler did you buy? I would like skuzzle to make up the same over the rad pipes for me that you got.

Good man!
It was just an eBay one with the entry and exit on the top. Pretty sure Nick has a good source for them. Those guys are dead busy though so if you want to book it in is do it sharpish. Pretty sure they're booked up until June now.

Well it runs! 45 min blast with autotuning on got all my AFRs back to green. Only problem was that the revs dropped too low when I pulled up to junctions causing the car to stall. Not sure how to fix that.
When I got back I checked the timing again and it was rock solid.
Left it idling for 5 minutes and then the steam started! The coolant was boiling itself and pissing out of the overflow tube. So it seems I have an overheating problem to deal with now. Hope no damage has been done.
