Pretty extensive, td04 19t / ME221 are the big bits.
If you go again see if Nick can get the torque up, 200 to 225 was a much bigger jump than I was expecting, many squeaky bum times in the wet!

So after yesterday's RR day at Skuzzke, it would be rude not to share the results. Hopefully others have got their results too. Car is a 1997 UK mk1 1.8, K&N filter, Magnecore HT leads, and de-cat back stainless system. We've no idea how it made such strong figures as it's over stock but I'm well happy! 127.8 RWHP which equates to roughly 156 FWHP using this www.mk5cortinaestate.co.uk/calculator4.php

That's a lovely torque plot. That's why these cars are such a blast.

It must be the Tesco 99 Octane I filled it up with lol Wish we had genuine 100 octane here. A couple of years ago the attendant at a motorway services near Turin pointed us to the Shell 100 octane pump. I thought he was given us the bum's rush but he was adamant it was Super+. Even driving down the motorway afterwards you could feel the car was more responsive and caning it in the mountains was awesome. Sadly they've stopped selling it. Cheers, Pewe.

I dunno if it made a difference or not, I can't say I've ever noticed when driving really but then again, perhaps we're spoiled with a choice of different ones. With the Mazda only having a small tank, I always use the 99 stuff now anyways.

Yes, that's WHP. The wastegate was tiny, it was boosting to nearly 20psi at 6000rpm!
I done a Diy porting job on the wastegate now and at Actuator pressure, around 0.7- 0.8 bar on my Chinese boost gauge it now making 217 WHP.
