Hey, I'm new to the forum and new to mx5's. I've owned my mk1 for about 3 weeks now. Got the bug from Anton (who's just joined the forum) so had to get my own.  Hopefully the pic worked... Got a bit of a steal with it. Minimal rust and well looked after. Is a work in progress though (the blue wheels won't be a permanent feature...). Anyways, good to meet you  Dave |

Hey, I live in Basingstoke (Don't judge) and Anton lives in Wokingham. I'd joined Nutz but seems like I was missing a trick, also appears to be a lot more local people on here |

Someone else that appreciated roundabouts them... You get out and about in your mx5 much? Don't think I've ever seen anything that's not a stock mk2.5 or 3 round here.

I try to. Took the one in my signature to work today (Newbury so a nice run along the Newbury road and back) and I also have a dark metallic red MK1 I use on sunny days but that's currently got no MOT. Mrs Horney has a Red MK3 which is lowered and has a noisy exhaust. Otherwise I'm tooling about in a black Skoda Yeti with a load of stickers on the back. We've got a meet in a couple of weeks down at West Meon Hut, if you're free come along. I was going to organise a convoy from Basingstoke as there's a few Reading members who'll be passing through on the way down. I also try and get to Reading Jap Meet every month but not been for a while (Third Tuesday of every month at Reading Gate McDonalds).

Sweet, I'll keep an eye out for you. I also ride a Tailgate McNoIndicate r9T so if you get a wave from a biker on café racer styley bike it'll be me.
Be great to get to a few of the car meets, will keep an eye out for the info and will drag Anton and co along.
